D, I am glad that you are now a Philadelphia Eagle. We go way back (Del State) and what makes me proud of you is that you haven't changed a bit. You are one of the classiest men I know. I love philly, probably because I am born and raised here. So I will show you around.I just wanted everybody to know that you are a great guy and Philly is the best so you belong here!!Now do your thing. You have a ton of fans already (word of mouth).

Q)
Hey im from delaware too and my dad graduated from Delaware State im thinking of goin there myself. Im trying to be a starting wide reciever but i cant hold on to the ball any suggestions???
--kyle hutchison, wilmington, DE

A)
thats cool but first thing to get out of your mind and your vocabulary is CANT mean you already beat yourself. The fight is with yourself it doesnt matter what other people may say even your dad. You got to love him and listen to him but it you who has to play. If both your hands work properly its all in your mind. You got to think that you the best receiver in the world and you can be stop and you dont drop the ball or fumble it. and last but not least have fun and everything else will take care of itself. and if its a phyical problem work on you hand strenth, read books how make your arms stronger, because you hand bones are connected to your elbows and so forth. Just play with a football thru out the day without getting in trouble with it.

Q)
Hey D,
First of all, there are at least 100 fans that are totally upset that you are gone. They are talking about you leaving on the radio 93.9 and 95.5 and on the news everywhere. The word is - it was a big mistake. I am not sure how to take it because I believe that God has a plan for everyone and this is a blessing. Wherever your journey takes you please stay positive and keep in touch, you will be greatly missed. We don't even have a favorite player on our team anymore! Make sure you come and holla at me when you come home 11/6.
P.S. I have been taking some art classes at Maryland - so soon I will invite you to one of my shows! LOL. Let me know when you have another show? P.S. I can send you some more pix of you for your page too.
A True Fan!

Q)
Darnerian, it's been a long time brother. Congratulations on your new opportunity up in Philly. I keep in touch with Donte and I tell him to tell you I said what's up. If you are ever back in VA, please stop by Briar Woods HS in Ashburn. I am coaching there. We got a good group that would love to meet you bro. QB is coming along. He was 11 of 11 for 156 and 4 TD's the other night. Yes, we are throwing the ball more. I've got a kid that can do it with a little more consistency. Hit me when you get a chance. I hope all is going well. Once again congrats brother, keep up the good work. By the way, I got away from crazy man Butts over a year ago. Hard lessons but lessons learned.
Peace,
John Tomlinson
